I'm starting this post with no idea on my reading status with the challenges. Remember when I made lists and small TBRs and carefully planned my reads so I can read new books but also not fall into a slump? Well, I don't know that person anymore. Let's just dive in and I'll find out how I'm doing along with y'all.
We're almost halfway through the year! Considering that this is the first year that I'm properly attempting reading challenges, I'm doing pretty good. I'm actually really happy with my progress. Let's review! Goodreads Reading Challenge I started the year with a goal to read 150 books, same as 2019's goal. But with a busy life… Continue reading June Reading Challenges Update
Hey guys! February was a shorter month, even though it was a day longer than usual. This basically means that I read one book less than I originally would. Okay, I'm totally lying. I'm barely finding the time to read, y'all! I'm using the one missing day as an excuse. While February was more hectic… Continue reading February Reading Challenges update + March Goals
Hey y'all! 2020 is the first year where I take on reading challenges/readathons for the first time. I mentioned all the ones I'm participating in last year, and I was hesitant if I'll be able to truly keep up with them. But I'm trying! In this post, I'll go through my updates on every challenge… Continue reading January Reading Challenges update + February goals
#StartOnYourShelfathon is a readathon where the main goal is to prioritize reading books you already own (physical or electronic). To be honest, I don't do very badly* with my unread books. I don't have that many unread physical or electronic books. BUT. The books I do have tend to be ignored for a long time.
Hi everyone! It's been a hot minute since I've posted something but I did manage to do a lot life and reading-wise in that time. In today's post, I just want to briefly talk about the books I read for a readathon which I participated in last month. #readaton was a week-long readathon where we… Continue reading Read-A-Ton challenge wrap up
There are so many amazing reading challenges, just keeping track of them takes work. This is why I don't join in on many, and those I do are more general. I'm a fan of New Adult books, especially romance, and this challenge was perfect because I'll be doing it without putting much conscious effort. I… Continue reading 2017 New Adult Reading Challenge // round-up
Another reading challenge I'm participating in! This one is hosted by my friend Charley from awriternamedcharley. (My laptop is running out of charge so I'm going to do this fast) This challenge is basically the title: to read one classic every month of this year. I don't like reading classics so this will give me… Continue reading A Classic A Month challenge
The Beat the Backlist Challenge is focused on knocking off titles that have been on your TBR for a while, or even ones that get pushed aside for new releases. Over the years, and especially this one, we’ve noticed that new releases are getting more and more attention while our TBRs continue to grow. While we LOVE new releases, we also want to show some of those older titles love too.
