I was in a really bad reading slump recently. I spent over a month reading Two Dark Reigns because I just couldn't get myself to open a book. I was also really busy to even think about it, tbh. I saw Whitney @ WhittyNovels mention this in a video where she was recommending New Adult books, and I was immediately interested because of the synopsis. Plus, it's written by Christina Lauren, whose books I really like. And hence, I went ahead and got the book online.

I was cruising the New Adult new release section on Goodreads when I saw this and it drew me because it's main character is a figure skater. After I saw the movie Ice Princess, I've become interested in stories about figure skaters so I immediately got this book...
Let me begin with saying that, at first, I rated Until Lilly by Aurora Rose Reynolds 4 stars. Later, I made it 5 stars after realizing that it's one of the few books in which the secret-child trope is done well. But during my third read of the book, I couldn't ignore the problematic elements anymore. They nagged me and I eventually changed my rating down to 3 stars[...]
There are so many amazing reading challenges, just keeping track of them takes work. This is why I don't join in on many, and those I do are more general. I'm a fan of New Adult books, especially romance, and this challenge was perfect because I'll be doing it without putting much conscious effort. I… Continue reading 2017 New Adult Reading Challenge // round-up
