November Highlights || great books + blog maintenance

november highlights

November is over! It's hard to believe that we're already at the last month of the year. Even though the days felt slow, the weeks are going by so fast. I think I'm especially feeling it because I work every day and have this blog to run, and hence a lot of my time is… Continue reading November Highlights || great books + blog maintenance

Sum It Up || Where I Try To Catch Up On Book Reviews

sum it up mini book reviews with sumedha

Ever since I stopped doing weekly reading updates, my reviewing frequency has reduced drastically. I know that I don't have to review all the books I read, but I want to share my thoughts on most of them. Individual reviews for books are hard to do because I need to have enough to share about… Continue reading Sum It Up || Where I Try To Catch Up On Book Reviews

Hello everyone! This last week wasn't that good in terms of reading for me because I spent a lot of my reading hours to study. My final exams are coming up in two weeks and I am NOT prepared. The Folklore Book Tag

Taylor Swift released a surprise album folklore and it is BEAUTIFUL. The album released at 9:30am for me and you can bet that I started listening to it ASAP. I've also been listening to only this album since it has released because it is too good. Reading? Play folklore in the background. Blogging? Play folklore.… Continue reading The Folklore Book Tag

www wednesday @ the wordy habitat, all the bookish updates, currently reading, mini book reviews, books to read next.

I almost fell into a reading slump. Lately I've been trying real hard to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new books and genres. Above that, I've also been actively trying to do good at reading challenges. Because of that, for a while in between I wasn't reading any book for fun.… Continue reading WWW Wednesday // 21st July 2020

July 2020 Reading Challeges Update

reading challenges updates and goals @ the wordy habitat book blog

I'm starting this post with no idea on my reading status with the challenges. Remember when I made lists and small TBRs and carefully planned my reads so I can read new books but also not fall into a slump? Well, I don't know that person anymore. Let's just dive in and I'll find out how I'm doing along with y'all.

The Marriage Game || Desi rivals-to-lovers <3

I have no idea how I came across this book. Probably on Instagram or in a recommendations blog post by someone, but I'm sure I put it in my TBR because it has Indian main characters. After it being in my TBR for a long time, I finally picked it up because I was in the mood for some romance and desi romance sounded really good. It was a great decision to pick this up.

40 quotes that will make you want to read Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge

I'm not someone who picks up non-fiction often even though I want to. That changed with this book. While this book was on my TBR for a long time, I didn't pick it up until recently when it was highly recommended by multiple people online because of current scenarios. I'll be honest, I only know things about what's happening in US and UK because of what trends and from books.

Mid-Year Book Freak-Out Tag 2020

We're halfway through the year, and that means it's time for the Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag! I don't need another reason to freak out and talk about books, but it's always welcome haha. This tag is a good way to take account of the books we've read so far and share some highlights.… Continue reading Mid-Year Book Freak-Out Tag 2020
