My thoughts and opinions on all things bookish
I’ve seen this Kdrama around lately, but I didn’t know what it was about at all. That being said, it sounds like so much fun😮😄! I’m not even sure what it would be called haha, but I really love that trope where the protagonist isn’t actually the protagonist of the story 😂. I just know I’ll like this drama! Awesome review, Sumedha 🙂!

Yep it’s promoted a lot but never with the story! It’s super fun to watch though. I hope you like it. Thanks!

I will definitely have to add this to my watchlist during my self-isolation! The concept sounds really similar to Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer’s “Between the Lines” duology series.

I think the best part of the drama was the casting. Kim Hye-yoon really brought Eun Dan-oh to life. She sold the story. I also thought it was pretty clever casting Lee Na-eun as Yeo Joo-da. She is pretty popular as the ideal heroine in the web series world. So her playing the ‘main character’ was brilliant. And I can fangirl about Lee Jae-wook all day, he really made me wish for Baek Kyung’s redemption. However, the ending left me a little underwhelmed. It could just be me but it just didn’t do much for me.

Definitely agree about the casting! I did not know about Lee Na-eun, but you’re right it is perfect. The ending was underwhelming but there wasn’t any other way to do it so I accepted that.

I think in a way the ending was to give closure to the viewers

[…] was introduced to this song through the Kdrama Extraordinary You and I love it so much. It’s almost a sad song because of the sound, but it’s not. […]
