Happy Friday y’all! It’s almost the weekend! Well, technically. But since I have classes on Saturdays as well, my weekend starts tomorrow evening. #sadlife
I’m just not in the mood to write up a proper post and plus I don’t have the time so I thought I’ll do a tag today. I saw this tag over at Diversion3000 and it’s been a while since I’ve done a music tag, so let’s go!
Rules:
- Hit shuffle play on any devices or apps that you listen to music on.
- List the first ten songs that play.
- Tag some people!
My complete playlist has 1217 songs at the moment, of various languages. I’m hitting shuffle now..
1. Invincible by Ruelle
I’ve been a Ruelle fan ever since the first two minutes of Shadowhunters where her song Monsters was played. This is one of my favourite songs by her. I love the vibe of her work.
2. Falling by Jo Hyun-ah
This song is from the soundtrack of the W: Two World Korean drama. It’s actually one of the Korean songs I have that I haven’t listened to much. I usually keep songs I think I might like in the future even if I don’t like them at the moment. After a while if I don’t end up liking it, I remove it from my playlist. Jury’s still out on this one.
3. If I Lose Myself by OneRepublic
OneRepublic is a brilliant band and this is my second favourite song by them, coming only after Counting Stars. I love the chorus.
4. What You Wanted by OneRepublic
Another song by OneRepublic! I came upon this song while listening to a curated OneRepublic playlist on YouTube and loved it. The lyrics ❤
5. Tum Hi Ho Bandhu by Neeraj Shridhar & Kavita Seth
Okay so I was, at one point, completely OBSESSED with this song. It’s from the Bollywood movie Cocktail and it a really good upbeat dance song.
6. Teri Jhuki Nazar by Pritan ft. Shafqat Amanat Ali
This is one of the Hindi songs on my playlist that I rarely listen to but still don’t feel like deleting. It’s just that, at random (and rare) times when I do want to listen to it, I love it.
7. Sun Raha Hai Na Tu
Another Hindi song! While I didn’t love the Aashiqui 2 movie, I really liked the songs in the movie. I also prefer the female version over the male. I always sing along to the songs from this movie, no matter how sick of them I am.
8. Galliyan by Ankit Tiwari
FOUR continuous Hindi songs? Whew. Anyway this song is from the movie Ek Villain. I loved the movie and I love the songs. I like the male version only slightly more than the female, both are really good.
9. Invisible by Taylor Swift
I didn’t even know this song existed until a friend of mine told me to listen to it, and I’m not a fan. It’s probably the least listened to TS song on my playlist and I’m pretty sure I’ll be removing it soon.
10. Kadhal Ennulle by Nivin & Nazriya Nazim
I believe I mentioned this in a favourite songs post recently. When I love Tamil songs, I completely FALL IN LOVE. Same thing happened with this song. Every time I listen to this song, I just want to close my eyes and sway to it. Even if you don’t understand Tamil, I definitely recommend it.
I tag..
YOU! If you want to do it, go ahead! I wasn’t tagged for it but I don’t care about that. If I really want to do a tag, I do it, and you should.
How many songs are there in your playlist? Are there songs of various languages? Do you like any of the songs I mentioned above? Let me know in the comments!
I loved this!!!!!! I didn’t know any of the songs, I have to check them out!!!!!!
