10 books that I could re-read forever

There have been a lot of books that I've loved, and I would re-read most of them. But books that I could re-read forever and not get bored? That's a different story. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jana @ The Artsy Reader Girl and this week's topic is Books I Could Re-read Forever. In short, these are my absolute favourite books. Let's get to it![...]

Life Update // stress, lack of sleep, study, and did I say stress?

It's been a long time since I've done a life update. Although I can name at least name three things I'm supposed to be doing ASAP, I'm writing this post instead because I NEED TO BLOG, OKAY? It's been about 10 days since I've blogged and I miss it. Legit, the only reason you see regular posts is because I wrote and scheduled them during the semester break. As most updates, this is just me ranting about things and simply talking.

Running into Love // literally

I've read A LOT of books by Aurora Rose Reynolds and while I haven't loved any of them, I still like the romances. So I keep reading her books. First off, like all of her books this one also has problematic elements. It's not as many as the others, but there are some. If you haven't read Reynolds' books before, you should consider this before going into the books—it's not perfect or ideal. The males are very alpha and possessive, the women mostly take help from them, and there are themes of "woman meets man and he pretty much clears all her problems or saves her". Okay, onto the book itself[...]

10 books I removed from my TBR

My TBR consists of a lot of books that I added ages back and still haven't read. And considering the changes in my reading tastes, I'm probably not interested in quite a few of them anymore. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jana over at The Artsy Reader Girl. This week's topic is Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading and I'm taking this as a push to kick off some books from my TBR. Lord knows my TBR could use some cleaning[...]

Jane the Virgin season 1 review

This post has been a long time coming. I watched season 1 so long back, I'm a little worried I hardly remember anything. I'm currently a few episodes into season 3 and have lost the interest I had in Season 1 so.. I don't see myself binge-ing it further just yet. I asked on twitter last week which post to do and this got the most votes, so here we are. I'll only be talking about season 1 to avoid spoilers, even though I've seen season 2[...]

An Arranged Love Marriage || a love story out of the Indian cliche

I read a review on this book by a blogger I follow and I was instantly caught. A love story born out of the freedom-less Indian way of things? Yes please! The Plot We've got Saphira Varma, successful in her field and happy with her life. Her parents start looking for guys to marry her off to because it's been long enough and she's still single. Saphira doesn't want to but plays along for her parents' sake. Classic Indian story[...]

10 romance books I 11/10 recommend

I love reading romance books. If you've been here a while, you'd probably know that. If not*, you know now! More than half the books I read last year were romance books. But why do I like romance so much, you ask? A list (just because I love lists): I like love stories. They give me unrequited hope of finding love one day. I can pretend it's me getting a happily ever after so a little while. I read through romance books REALLY fast and so they're my go-to when I don't have much time to spare for reading. When I have exams going on, for instance. I'm out of reasons. I just like romance a lot.

Wintersong || literally music everywhere

This book is a retelling of Labrynth and considering this is the first time I'm even hearing of it, I can't say anything on similarities. I picked up Wintersong because a lot of people have been reading it and I wanted to read fantasy. I honestly don't know how to review this book. I started wondering this half-through the book itself. Okay first off, the cover is extremely pretty and I want the hardcover of this book only so I can take a hundred pictures of it[...]

My Comfort Movies

There are some movies which make me feel good any day. Bad day? Put one on. Upset for some reason? Comfort movie. They're my mood pick-ups for whenever. Even if I am not in a low mood, I let these play in the background while doing something. No matter how many times I watch them, I don't become bored. I talk way too less about movies on here so I thought why not share some of my comfort movies with y'all today.

Roomies || love because of Broadway

I've read Autoboyography by the authors (Christina Lauren are two authors under one pen name) and I loved it. I don't usually go seeking for other books by authors I like (I know, weird) but I saw this on the new releases list on Goodreads and HAD to read it. The Plot The story is a little crazy, different and totally romantic. Holland always listens to Calvin play on the subway station on certain days. She's also sorta been crushing on him[...]

February bullet journal setup

Hi loves! I'm trying out a new nickname and I'm not sure it's working? I mean, I have to call y'all something right? *cue blogger existential crisis* January has gone by so fast, I didn't even use my bullet journal much! I spent all my holidays lazing around and reading—I HARDLY was productive. My college got postponed by a few days and started TODAY instead of last week. Honestly, I miss having something to do and I miss being productive. To college, it is[...]

Neanderthal Seeks Human || I’ve been looking for this all my life

Knitting in the City is a series of 7 main books, each following the story of a different couple where the female main characters are all part of a knitting club. The books can be read in order or as standalones. If I had to read only one romance book for the rest of my life, I would pick this book. No hesitation. In fact, I reread this book around a week after reading it for the first time. I simply could NOT go to another romance after this gem[...]

January ’18 wrap-up

Can you believe that we're already into the second month of the year? Because I can't. I spent the beginning of Jan writing finals and had my semester break until the 28th. Am I sad that I'm already back in college for another semester when I haven't yet recovered from the previous one? You bet. But I am also happy to see my friends and have something to do everyday besides sleep, eat and read. January was pretty chill for me, blogging-wise[...]
