Author: Samantha Young

Genre: NA romance

Status: Book 1 of On Dublin Street but can be read as standalone

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.

A really good story and it has been written well too.
Instead of writing about the story, I’m reviewing about my thoughts on the complete novel:

I love the characters, they were thought into, the dialogues and everything give you a perfect insight into the character and it’s really easy to imagine with the description that I just got absorbed in very easily.
There were sad parts (required, obviously) but not too sad that you’d cry buckets. And most of them you knew were coming and could get through them knowing that it would end well. The meeting of the characters was something different, unique than what I have read until today. I’ll admit, the cliched thing about the guy being a man whore and having a lot of girlfriends and finally ends up with someone completely different is in here too-but its always awesome so I loved it.

Here’s a book for all those who are suckers for romance. Read it with peace and a cleared schedule because you won’t want to leave it until you’re done with it.
